TOP DOLOMITES TRAIL RUN

The TOP DOLOMITES Amateur Sports Association organizes the “Top Dolomites Trail” which is divided into 3 routes, 10 km 22 km 49 km.

Event name: Top Dolomites Trail

Date: 1 June 2024

Departure: Pinzolo at 8.00am Ultra 49 km route – 10.00am departure for 10 km and 22 km

Registrations: Closing upon reaching 1000 participants divided:

200 Ultra Trail route

600 Medium route

200 Short course

• Bibs number collection: Pinzolo – Paladolimiti

Friday 31 May from 5 pm to 7 pm and Saturday 1st June from 6.30 am to 7.30 am Ultra Trail

Saturday 1st June from 8 am to 10 am Medium and Short Trail

Race pack: Technical accessories.

Replacement/cancellation of registration: It is possible to ask, within the 1st May 2024, the reimbursement of the registration fee (minus € 15 for secretary costs and bank charges), or the postponement of the registration to the 2025 edition (in this case will be issued a voucher for the amount of the registration fee minus € 10 for secretary costs and bank charges).

The request of replacement with another participant will be accepted only within the 1st May 2024.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

To take part in the competition, the athlete must be at least 18 years old and be in possession of a medical certificate of suitability for competitive practice (protocol B1) valid at the time of the competition for the following disciplines: ATHLETICS, TRIATHLON. Participation implies express and unreserved acceptance of this regulation in all its parts, and acceptance of all instructions addressed to participants by the Organization.

It is possible to register for the event as a “MEMBERSHIP” if in possession of an Italian competitive medical certificate (B1) for athletics or triathlon and a regular membership card ACSI, CSAIN, UISP, FIDAL or foreign card IAAF/ITRA OR Triathlon ITU.

Alternatively, it is possible to register for the event as “NON-MEMBERS” if you do not have any license. The Organization will ensure that all those registered with this method are registered with ACSI Athletics at the time registration closes. In this case the registration cost is increased by €5.00 (cost of the ACSI membership).

IMPORTANT: foreigners who do not have an Italian B1 competitive medical certificate must present the appropriate medical certificate form provided by the Organization and downloadable HERE, having it signed by their doctor.

Foreign certificates issued abroad are not accepted.

EXCLUSIONS

The Organizing Committee may at any time and at its sole discretion decide whether or not to accept the registration or exclude a member of the event in the event that it could cause damage to the image of the event. Registrations will not be accepted from runners who have had doping-related sanctions and/or disqualifications for more than 6 months.

MANDATORY MATERIAL

By registering, each athlete undertakes to carry all the mandatory material with them throughout the race.

– Mandatory material Ultra Trail 49km:
trail shoes – trail backpack or carrying strap – water bottle or camelbag with a minimum capacity of 500ml – food – glass – windproof jacket – charged phone with the security numbers provided by the organization entered – thermal sheet – first aid kit

– Mandatory equipment Medium route: trail shoes – glass – windproof jacket.

The use of trail poles is permitted for all distances.

AWARDS

First 3 men and first 3 women for each route (49 – 22 – 10 km)

The awards will take place in Piazza San Giacomo in Pinzolo, a ceremonial area.
The prizes will not be sent home but delivered locally to the recipient. Proxies to other people to collect the prize will not be accepted.

SPORTS CLUBS
The sports club with the most members will be rewarded.

RANKINGS

A general order of arrival will be drawn up, as well as a company order with the criteria already described. The rankings and order of arrival of the “Top Dolomites Trail” will be published on the website www.endu.net

TIMING

CHIP REGULATION

The timing service will be carried out by EvoData, using a disposable transponder. The chip is personal and cannot be exchanged. Competitors who do not pass through the control passages will be disqualified. The chip placed on the bib must not be removed for any reason, under penalty of exclusion from the ranking.

GATES

The Top Dolomites Ultra Trail Run will start at 8 am and the maximum time to complete the race is 12 hours.

Gates:

– After Lago di Valagola the athlets can leave the long route and go ahead along the Medium route 22 KM: km 13 after 3.15′ time 11.15 am

– Rifugio Grostè: km 27.3 after 6.50′ time 2.50 pm

– Fortini Parking: km 34 after 8.30′ time 4.30 pm

There are no maximum time and gates for the Medio Trail 22 km and Short Trail 10 km

CHRONOMETERING STATIONS

They will be set up at the start, at the finish and along the routes. The management of the controls will be entrusted to authorized personnel. Those who anticipate the start or start without carrying out the start control will be excluded from the final ranking and sanctioned according to ACSI regulations.

REFRESHMENT POINTS

Along the route, refreshment, water and mechanical points will be set up and organized only for runners who wear the race number.

– 7 Refreshment point on the Ultra Trail Run 49 km (km 4 – 11 – 17.5 – 22 – 27 – 34 – 40)– 3 Refreshment point on the Medio Trail 22 km (km 4 – 11 – 15)– 1 Refreshment point on the Short Trail 10 km (km 4)

CROSSROADS MANAGEMENT

Organizational staff, A.S.A., Civil Protection, Fire Brigade, local police and volunteers will guarantee the supervision and control of the intersections and the most challenging points of the route in agreement and collaboration with the police forces.

HEALTH SERVICE

The organizing committee will prepare an adequate medical assistance service on the route and at the starting and arrival points with fixed stations, medicalized ambulances, rescue volunteers, guaranteed by 118 and an air ambulance in case of need. The emergency number for all participants to call only and exclusively in the event of a serious emergency during the race is 118.

WASTE

All those who throw waste along the route will be reported to the Jury and excluded from the final ranking. Participants are invited to maintain a decent attitude during the race and during the starting operations.

COMPLAINTS

Any complaints must be addressed to the competition jury within the terms of the regulations and accompanied by the fee required by the ACSI regulation.

DECLARATION OF RESPONSIBILITY

“I, the undersigned, for myself, for my heirs and executors, aware of the criminal sanctions provided for in the event of untruthful declarations and false documents (art. 26 l. 15/68 and art. 489 c.p.) declare to have read and consequently know, accept and respect the regulations of the “Top Dolomites Trail” and to be aware that participation in competitive sporting events is potentially a risky activity if not adequately prepared and in suitable physical conditions; to be aware that to register you must be in possession of a valid medical certificate of suitability for competitive sporting activity for running and be at least 16 years old on the date of the event; to register voluntarily and I assume all risks deriving from my participation in the event: falls, contact with vehicles, with other participants, spectators or otherwise, weather conditions, including scorching heat, extreme cold and/or humid, traffic and road conditions road, every type of risk well known and assessed by me.
Being aware of the above, considering the acceptance of my registration, I, on my own behalf and in the interest of no one else, relieve and release the Organizing Committee of “Top Dolomites Trail”

PRIVACY AND IMAGE RIGHTS

Pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 196 of 06/30/2003, before registering the athlete is required to read the documentation regarding the protection of privacy, available on the website www.topdolomites.it and to express his/her consent to the processing of personal data in foreseen methods.
The data provided will be processed in compliance with the rules established by Legislative Decree 30.06.2003 n.196 and used exclusively for the purposes set out in the information published on the website www.topdolomites.it
By registering for ““Top Dolomites Trail””, the athlete expressly authorizes the Organizing Company, together with the legal entities with which he maintains professional and commercial relationships relating and connected to the shooting of images of the event, to the free acquisition of the right to use the still or moving images in which he may appear, taken on the occasion of his participation in the competition on all visual media as well as on promotional and/or advertising materials produced and disseminated throughout the world and for the maximum time allowed by the laws, regulations and treaties in force, including any extension that may be made to the envisaged period.

FAILURE TO PERFORM

In the event that the race is canceled and/or postponed to another date, or in any case not carried out due to causes of force majeure and/or reasons not attributable and/or not referable to the will of the Organizer, including the revocation of the authorization to carry out by the competent public bodies, the member will have nothing to claim from the Organizing Committee and/or from Top Dolomites ASD, neither for the refund of the registration fee, nor for reimbursement of any expense incurred or to be incurred. After June 1st the fees will not be refunded and will be frozen until the new year. The submission of the registration application constitutes acceptance of this clause and express waiver of any claim resulting from the cancellation and/or postponement of the race. Attention: The Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify these regulations at any time for reasons it deems appropriate for the purpose of better organization of the race, subject to authorization from the ACSI. The event will take place in all weather conditions.
